Leonard Sweet

As a historian of American culture, a futurist, a semiotician, and a preacher who communicates the gospel to a postmodern world, Leonard sees things the rest of us do not see, and dreams possibilities that are beyond most of our imagining. Len is currently the E. Stanley Jones Professor of Evangelism at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey, and a speaker-in-demand for the church world, the academic world, and the world of popular culture, as well as the founder and president of SpiritVenture Ministries.



Elizabeth Rennie Sweet
Elizabeth is an honors graduate of American Baptist related Linfield College outside of Portland, Oregon. Her Ph.D. work was done under Christopher Lasch at the University of Rochester, where she served as his research assistant for the award-winning Haven in a Heartless World. Elizabeth coauthored with Leonard the preaching resource Homiletics. In her spare time, Elizabeth runs the Advance Center at Orcas Island, Washington State and rides herd on three kids at home.



Karyn Wiseman
Karyn is an ordained United Methodist pastor, currently serving the Hasbrouck Heights First UMC in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. She's a graduate student at Drew University in Madison, NJ, and her field of study is Liturgy with an emphasis on Preaching and Creative/Wired Worship. Karyn loves transformational worship, reading, travel, golf, and being a mom to her young son, Shelby Mikhail.



Jesse B. Caldwell, III
Judge Caldwell is the senior resident judge for the state of North Carolina. He’s served as a superior court judge since September of 1993 when he was appointed by Governor James B. Hunt, and won reelection in 1998. His responsibilities include serving as presiding judge around the state, as well providing administrative support and supervision for the local courts.
